Top Three Reasons for RSA Wisconsin

1. Power and strength in numbers.

RSA Wisconsin has recognized the necessity of joining together during challenging times in order for any agency to survive in today’s assisted living world. Not only does RSA Wisconsin provide a valuable network for provider members, the association is also involved with other provider associations including the Provider Organization Summit, which encompasses other groups in the assisted living industry as well as nursing homes. By bringing some issues forward with a unified voice to better the entire health care industry, legislators are taking notice that we are working alongside nursing homes with the common goal of providing the best quality of care to all individuals served in the setting they choose. 2. Legislative advocacy and timely, relevant information.

Lobbyist Forbes McIntosh has been retained by RSA Wisconsin to regularly provide members with well-focused information about activity in the assisted living field, and assist the association with lobbying and legislative efforts as decided upon by the Board of Directors. He distributes weekly legislative reports containing information on new and ongoing bills introduced, articles of note in major news sources, and details of upcoming public hearings, state released memos that pertain to the assisted living industry, and any other pertinent information.
