Serving
on a committee can help you become involved with your
organization, make a difference in legislation, meet
other members, and even have fun. The following list
gives a brief description of the standing RSA Wisconsin
committees:
| Executive: |

Made
up of the President, President Elect, Past President,
Secretary, and Treasurer.

| Legislative: |
|
The
Legislative Committee seeks out and updates board
members of any state or federal legislative activity
that involves our organization for distribution
to the membership through faxed updates the biennial
newsletter and other forms of communication. They
also coordinate with legislators and other official
representatives to be present at all RSA Wisconsin
functions.

| Membership: |
|
Board
members involved in the Membership Committee will
assist in organizing and developing materials to
actively recruit new members and retain current
members. This committee will also analyze and recommend
any changes necessary in the dues structure as stated
in the by-laws.

| Conference: |
|
The
Conference Committee will assist in planning events,
organizing sponsors and exhibitors and selecting
and confirming speakers for the annual meeting held
each Spring. They will work closely with the management
office in preparation of all materials and assisting
with on-site meeting requirements. (i.e. –
registration desk, meeting attendance, audio visual
set-up/checks, refreshing meeting rooms, answering
questions, etc.)

| Nominating: |
|
The
Nominating Committee recruits and screens qualified
candidates to achieve a full compliment of Directors
and presents a Slate of Officers for Board approval
and election at the annual conference each Spring.
